Here are a few comments from our visitor's book

We had a lovely stay at Swallow Cottage. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you might need. The meadow beyond the rear garden was a bonus as we had our dog with us, it is large enough to throw a ball for catch and chase, and would be ideal for children to play. There are plenty of walks that you can do straight from the door so no need to use the car unless you want to go further afield. It was our first stay at this cottage and it was a real treat and we will be booking again.

Yvonne Kinsey,

We had a super week at Swallow Cottage, even the sun came out and it was fine. There were lots of easily accessible beaches just a short distance away. The village pub was very welcoming and also the cafe at the walled garden where they served lovely freshly cooked food. It was very relaxing just to sit in the garden reading listening to the birds at the end of the day and where, we had some beautiful sunset skies. The cottage was very clean, spacious, airy and well equipped. There were lots of places to visit so we need to revisit. Tremendous light if you are an artist and a dogs paradise although on this occasion we did not have one with us.

Susanna Gilmore Powell,

Lovely stay with sunny weather. We brought logs for cosy fires. Loved the Walled Gardens at Stackpole and lunch there....Excellent meal at the Stackpole Inn. Flowers everywhere, including orchids!

Annie, Mathew & Diana,

Lovely relaxing week, with rain only one day. Spring flowers spectacular along the coastal paths and in Stackpole woods. Highlight of our week, saved for our last day, with a very close view of an otter at the Lily Ponds - right on the bank below us. Tea and cakes at the Stackpole Walled Garden excellent as always

The Thomas Family,

Well what luck! We had glorious weather every day. The best dog garden ever. Spent most of our week exploring Stackpole Estate. Mere Pool Valley off Broadhaven beach is so peaceful. A circular walk from Manorbier past Swanlake Bay is glorious. The Lily Ponds are wonderful, so too the Walled Garden. So sad to be leaving and will most definitely return.

The Jokel Family,

Matilda, aged 6,

"A quick note to say many thanks for a very enjoyable week at Swallow Cottage. You were quite right that we found Stackpole as lovely as we remembered it, and revisited some old favourites.
How nice to find a cottage where everything works: this is not by any means always the case! And the wine was very welcome.
Thank you again,
P.S. I pinched some blackberries from your meadow - couldn't resist!"

Gill,

We would highly recommend Swallow Cottage. We have just come back from a week there with our two children aged 9 & 11. It is well-equipped, comfortable and very peaceful. The area around is stunning and the beautiful beaches provided hours of fun.

Rachel Loyd,

A nice week spent at this peaceful cottage. Broadhaven and Barafundle beaches are stunning and the whole area is joined by great walking paths. The grounds of the cottage were just the job for our daughters (3&4) to run around in. Can't think anything was missing, thank you!

J, C and family

Had a lovely week here at Swallow Cottage. Very well equipped, good location, lovely garden. Fantastic beaches nearby - Barafundle and Broadhaven for soft sand and a tropical feel. Freshwater West for wild and beautiful, totally exposed and the only people there! Would definitely come back, thanks for a great and comfortable stay!

What can I say, other than this cottage feels like home and I wish it was! The setting is idyllic, the cottage beautiful and peace and quiet is in abundance. I have been coming to Pembrokeshire for nearly 45 years and to me, it is Heaven on earth. The beaches are second to none and the coastal scenery is stunning! I love this place and hope that we can return next year.
